platform-migration GenAI · Automation

Several days of manual work, now one automated workflow

Built GenAI-assisted automation to migrate frontend services to a new company platform. A migration that took several days of manual work became an automated workflow that other teams now use.

dora-metrics-rollout CI/CD · AI-assisted

DORA metrics across many CI/CD pipelines

Rolled out DORA deployment metrics across many teams' CI/CD pipelines, with AI-assisted changes to update the repositories.

service-mesh-auth Service mesh · Security

Service-to-service authentication, switched on by configuration

Built a service-mesh networking layer with service-to-service authentication. Frontend teams turn it on through configuration, with no rebuild.

performance-budget Rentalcars.com

A 25% smaller header and footer bundle

Improved performance: cut the Rentalcars.com header and footer bundle by 25% (20 kB), so pages load less code.

build-platform Build tooling · Node

A modern frontend build platform

Modernised the frontend build platform: migrated off Razzle and upgraded Node on all services.

mentoring Bootcamp · 2025

Lead mentor for the 2025 bootcamp

Lead mentor for the 2025 Apprentice-to-Graduate bootcamp. Designed starter projects and gave in-person technical guidance.

02 Motivation

What I enjoy

I like fast feedback loops and a field that keeps improving. I get the most energy from work that makes other engineers faster.

  • Automation

Turning slow manual work into reusable automation, for example platform migrations and fleet-wide rollouts.

  • AI in practice

Using AI tools in practice, with quality control, to do large changes that were too slow to do by hand.

  • Performance and reliability

Smaller bundles, lower latency, and root-causing production issues.

  • Helping engineers

Helping other engineers through mentoring, docs and self-service guides.

03 Personal projects
